This is a first year Economics course. Students in the IB program will take this course as the first part of IB Economics. The students not in IB will receive credit for Economics 12 on successful completion of this course.
The material in this course is usually found in a first year college or university course (Micro and Macro Economics). Students should expect the reading level and assignment level to be similar.
If a student is planning to pursue a Business program this course is a good start.
